Mvelase Intelligent Unit (MIU) was founded by Khulani Nkululeko Phewa with one purpose: to deliver dependable, professional security to South African homes, businesses and institutions. From humble beginnings in Durban, we've grown into a trusted name across KwaZulu-Natal — known for our discipline, rapid response and community-first ethos.
Today MIU operates across multiple provinces with a full suite of guarding, armed response, monitoring and training services backed by PSIRA accreditation.

FIREARM ACADEMY

Our PSIRA-aligned firearm academy delivers Grade A–E and professional firearm handling courses, equipping guards, officers and private citizens with the skills, discipline and certification to operate safely and effectively.
